CAUGHT ON CAM: WEASEL & WEASEL AD AGENCY

Those bastards!... I knew it! … this morning was Project Status Meeting day with the ad agency. My hubby’s been all “what’s wrong with you?” about the stress I keep bringing home (sorry, honey) and joked that I should leave my phone on sometime and really get them. I didn’t take him seriously at first, but today after an hour or so of the agency team’s brand of bs, I thought why not? Let’s see if they’re as full of themselves as I think they are. So I excused myself, left the phone on and… look, just watch it, okay?

AE: See what I put up with?

CD: STUPID …it’s just a logo! make it bigger. JESUS! what about my award?????

AE: I know... It’s a launch, THAT BITCH!

CD: Yeah, we’re the agency, she’s JUST THE CLIENT! we’re the experts…

AE: I could do her job easily.

CD: You can give her fashion tips

AE: Hey, Shh!!!!!!! I think she's coming!!!

Hi Rina:

I'm with an ad agency and if you want to consider other agencies, we'd love to take a shot.

Where are you? From the sound of it, you must be somewhere in Asia, which is where we are. Drop me a line and we'll get in touch.

Genius!!!

I read your comments on Spike's post, and he's right: You're working with the wrong guys. Fire them as soon as it is convenient, and start searching for a better advertising partner asap.

Rock on! :D

Thanks, Olivier but I wish getting rid of them was that simple.

That video is so fake that it's sad. Are they reading off of cue cards? None of this is real, and the video and blog have a very strange aura of made-upness. Almost as much made-upness as the word "made-upness", which I just...err....invented.

I just can't figure out what the point of making it up is. Ad people are pricks sometimes and do say things to that effect, but never in that way. "What about my award?" Gimme a break. So, you left the room for a total of ten seconds, so they had time to blurt out that nonsense?

Please stop this, as desperate ad people will get slobber all over you.

This is obviously a fake. They even sound like very poor actors. It's pathetic.

I can see where this one's going: Disguntled Client goes to new agency [soon to be revealed!], and is "thrilled with how response they are! And the concepts? AMAZING! She should have made this decision YEARS ago!"

This is faker than Madonna's British accent. Any client that falls for this claptrap deserves the lame thinking they'll eventually get from the agency that threw this together.

Are u guys kidding?!!! Its very common to find agencies that hate their clients or vice versa. They just kiss ass 'cos they need the business. You all probably do it to at least one of your clients. I admit I've got contempt for some of mine, and I bad-mouth them behind their backs, when they come up with bizarre ideas, ask for all kinds of changes, or set unrealistic targets/deadlines, etc. Hope the rest of you will be honest enough to do same. All said though, it all sounds rather fake, probably some agency self-promo. Give us a break ok!!!
